Random number generator problem in React Native

I'm building a React Native app and on IOS when I attempt to run it, get the following error:

Error: secure random number generation not supported by this browser. use chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer 11

what package can I install to fix this?

I see someone else ran into this problem before me -- #14 -- which remains unresolved after nearly 6 months. scary. can anyone help?
