Hi @rinkesj,
I’d like to work on this issue as part of my GSoC contribution.
From what I understand, the goal is to create a Wicket Validator that checks the size of uploaded files and ensures they don’t exceed a specified limit before submission. This would help prevent large uploads from being processed unnecessarily.

I plan to implement a validator that:

Checks the uploaded file’s size during form submission.

Returns a clear, user-friendly error message if the file exceeds the allowed limit (e.g., “File size exceeds the maximum limit of X MB.”).

Allows easy configuration of the maximum file size.

Could you please confirm if there’s already a preferred maximum size or configuration pattern for Wicket validators in this project?
