First of all, thanks for all your work on this super useful software!!
I use revealjs from Quarto.
I noticed that when using footnotes, the footnote text is shown from the beginning (ie, as soon as the slide is shown), independently of the visibility of the text that has the anchor.
Let's say I use 3 fragments that appear incrementally. Say, 3 paragraphs, each one with a footnote. When the slide is shown for the first time, the 3 footnotes are already there (even if none of the paragraphs are shown yet).
This is a bit weird because the footnotes remain kind of 'orphan' until each one is finally referenced (in the above case, the 3rd footnote is there until the end of the slide when the 3rd paragraph is shown).
⮕ But most importantly for a presentation, the problem with this is it draws the attention of the reader/student to the footnotes before even knowing what it is about...
It would make sense that, by default, the footnote appeared at the same time as the text with the anchor.
Makes sense?
