what are the syntax/options for sinkspec?

I see sinkspec multiple places but i got no idea what they are and can't find docs for it?

I see sizing and other names in code but didnt yet find ways to get the cli to not complain about invalid sink spec.

am I blind its not documented/listed anywhere?

I have all sort of *spec strings and this part started as experiment that never finished.

In essence, I have a "language" in form of term() and is recursive, so term1(term2()). Basically EBNF would be somelike like

expr = term() || term(expr) || term(expr [, expr]+)

So valid syntax are op() and op(op1(), op2()) and op1(op2(op3()))) etc.

Re sinkSpec, some examples:

• null() is like /dev/null
• flat is flat/1 or flat/2, for example flat(lib) would write out JARs in ./lib flat, flat(omitClassifier(), lib) would write out JARs with omitClassifier mapper in ./lib directory.
• install() would install into local repo
• stat() would dump out infos like JAR file size, hashes, JPMS module info etc (is in fact added to resolve-transitive mojos)
• repository(rootDir) similar as flat but would create remote repository layout on disk
• etc

In Toolbox many operations are imagined as operation(source, sink) (basically like cp and like ops are) but it ended up almost always with copy or copy-transitive.

basically, the idea was like this (this mojo nor ops like resolveTransitive does not exist yet):

mvn toolbox:copy -DsourceSpec=resolveTransitive(gav(g:a:v)) -DsinkSpec=purge()

Would basically purge (delete) g:a:v and its transitive hull from your local repo, etc

And the reason why there is no doco about this at all, as I did this just a "proof of concept" (handcrafted SpecParser and all, and it just grew on it 😄

Ideally this could be redone with some real parser generator and doco even (hopefully) generated... but heh.

Added concat(source...) op #251 (tee(sink...) already existed)

I need resolve and resolveTransitive delegating sources and these with gav-copy Mojo is exactly that above.
