[AMD] Texture flickering / corrupted illumination of textures on Adrenalin 25.10.2 AMD drivers

Requires AMD GPU, Adrenalin 25.10.2 or later.

See attachment for a visual of the issue. Toggling AO makes no difference. Please note that there is a risk of this issue being prevalent for many months to come if Linden does not exert pressure on AMD to work together on a solution to this rendering issue. I'm speaking from experience with other software.

The workaround is to revert back to 25.9.1 driver.

An AMD representative on Reddit was asking how one of their devs can get in contact with Linden Lab about this issue. Has anyone from Linden Labs been in contact with AMD. If not please can someone from Linden Lab reach out to user AMD_Vik (https://www.reddit.com/user/AMD_Vik/) over Reddit?

The issue is still present with the AMD 26.1.1 drivers released on 1-21-2026.

Is anyone from Linden Lab working with AMD on this issue?

Still the same problem, it looks like most RDNA 3 graphics cards are affected. I contacted AMD again today about this. Up to driver 26.1.1, it was only noticeable at heights of 50m and above, but now it is also noticeable at ground level (20m). I hope they fix it.
