Does Blocky use HTTP Conditional Requests?

HTTP Conditional Requests greatly reduce the amount of data servers send when clients already have a cached copy of the data.

Does Blocky do this (or something similar) already? As a web developer I've found supporting HTTP Conditional Requests greatly beneficial for HTTP servers and as a human, I would like to reduce the amount of wasted bandwidth in general on the internet to promote energy efficiency, etc.

Blocky doesn't use any conditional request headers when it fetches domain lists from the internet. Relevant issue: #1793
Currently blocky is completely state-less. To implement it we need to store the list timestamp somewhere.

Got it—I'd love to implement this had I a working knowledge of Go—it should be possible to do without necessarily writing the lists out to disk too.
