Node.js 24 was released two months ago.
It has many useful features.
We need this version.

Azure support for new Node versions should at least be in preview while new LTS versions are still in "Current" status, with the target to have full support by the time they become the "Active" version for LTS:

Our team is actively working on adding support for the new Node.js version, and our infrastructure team is making steady progress toward enabling this. We will be sharing an official roadmap for Node.js support shortly to help track developments more transparently.

In addition, we are also working on refining our internal processes to ensure smoother and more predictable version releases going forward.
