Detect-adaptive and thresholds

I'm a little unsure which threshold is being respected with detect-adaptive. I have been testing the detection and I've noticed that it only picks ones where both adaptive_ratio and content_val is past the limit. There are some clear cuts where adaptive_ratio is less than the threshold like there in frame 168422.

Is it so that both need to be exceeded?

Yes, both need to be exceeded. The adaptive detector allows you to specify a threshold for adaptive_ratio (-t) as well as a threshold for content_val (-c).
