From a BlueSky post, an idea that seems to have some crowd endorsement is the changing of the the smiling face emoji and sad emoji in about:preference regarding the default browser check.
I believe this could be accomplished as a simple CSS change: just change the emojis being imported in browser\themes\shared\preferences\preferences.css
\01F641 to \274C for .face-sad, \01F600 to \2705 for .face-happy.
