Link Sidebar to Symbolbar editor

Hi,

I like the new sidebar, but it is missing proper customization.
Linking the sidebar to the symbolbar editor would be very convenient.
It would offer full and easy customization and also the possibility to move whatever symbol there, like in the good old AIO sidebar times.

I'd like to add that the sidebar is unconvenient if the scroll bar for the expandable side bar is lined up on the side that expands. When you hover your mouse over the sidebar to scroll up or down the tabs list, the scroll bar moves away from focus. This leads to you just chasing the moving scroll bar with your mouse cursor but never really catching it.
