Line numbers and #line directives

Today I encountered a source file that has plenty of #line directives:

For a bug report I had to find line 917 but due to the #line directives I had to find the real line 628.

It would be a nice addition if files with #line directives had one extra column with the mapped line numbers to the left, something like

917 | 628 |     return $numval != 0 and $numval ne $val ? 1 : 0;
