Cb scanner

I hate asking but, is there a way to use the redraw of the cbscanner. Basically ive made a handheld gps and i can get the directions printed on screen and the distance. I added a box on a page to try and use it as a map so to speak to show a visual direction. I added some code in the scanner function because i assumed thats where it would go, but the map isn't showing anything drawn on it. Should i just use a separate function for this or is there a way to call a redraw inside another function that gives me directions.
