Describe the bug

How to remove the toolbar in explorer? I deleted all entries, the toolbar is still there.

Please, provide screenshot for clarification what exactly you mean.

Classic Explorer toolbar can be disabled by right clicking on the toolbar area and deselecting Classic Explorer Bar option.

When Open-Shell is uninstalled it is supposed to remove all its components, including Explorer toolbar.

Classic Explorer toolbar can be disabled by right clicking on the toolbar area and deselecting Classic Explorer Bar option.

When Open-Shell is uninstalled it is supposed to remove all its components, including Explorer toolbar.

Ok i had to modify the registry because the toolbar wasn't dispearing even after the uninstallation of classic explorer (i had a little white line instead).

Deselecting the option doesn't work because each time you re-open another explorer it reappear again.
I had no toolbar before installing the classic explorer btw.

Deselecting the option doesn't work because each time you re-open another explorer it reappear again.

That is know issue (#1526). It seems Windows Explorer changed its behavior after some update.
See #1526 (comment) for workaround.

I assume it was setting Locked to 1 in Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar that helped. Is that right?
