Describe the bug

Its really annoying, I've tried everything. It only shows up on my account. Someone please help. This happened when I deleted Open-Shell.

To reproduce

Go onto file explorer after Open-Shell is deleted.

Expected behavior

For file explorer to be normal

Open-Shell version

4.4.191

Windows version

Windows 11 23H2

I don't quite understand what to do. I have changed the "locked" in that registry from 0 to 1 but in file explorer if its open for a few minutes it starts displaying an old style toolbar.

Someone in that thread mentioned that the menu bar shows when wallpaper changes (he has some wallpaper changer).
Could it be you are also using something that changes wallpaper? Maybe try to disable it?

I have used wallpaper engine before but it hasn't been launched in months. The problem only started after I installed and deleted open shell.

After you lock the bar using the Registry Edit, restart Windows Explorer using Command Prompt.
