Menu: should we put focus ring on menu items for the drag-click case?

I don't quite follow, are you asking if you should do that? or if we can implement this?

Focus rings are for keyboard focus navigation.
I just tried the Apple native menu's (File/Edit/etc) and they behave the same as that video.

So I think the answer is that we shouldn't be putting a focus ring on the menu item in this case.

Really? I didn't notice it when I tried it? Any specifics to reproducing?
Is it only if it's the first thing you interact with on the page? Or all the time?

This issue is hard to notice in React Aria's demo, since its focus and focus-visible styles are the same. It can be reproduced in the S2 documentation, like this example: https://react-spectrum.adobe.com/Menu#content
