To help with documentation , for the DEYE LV inverters (most sold in Europe) the pinout for BMS RS485 / CAN are as follows :
PIN 1 - RS485 B
PIN 2 - RS485 A
PIN4 - CAN HIGH
PIN5 - CAN LOW
PIN6 - GND Ground
PIN7 - RS485 A
PIN8 - RS485 B

For Pylontech LV batteries :
PINS 1-3 MUST BE NULL - NOT CONNECTED
PIN4 - CAN H
PIN5 - CAN L
PIN6 - GND
PIN7 - RS485 A
PIN8 - RS485 B.
