How do you actually create a blog post with this?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I see no info on how you actually create blog posts and perhaps show an image grid and a feed (list) of recent blog posts in order of date of posting

Create a new project using npm create astro@latest -- --template onwidget/astrowind

Drop a .md or .mdx into src/data/post see this as an example for content of your file.

For a custom image add: image: ~/assets/images/blog/image.png and drop the image into the folder src/assets/images/blog

When you run npm run start you should see blog posts at http://localhost:4322/blog.

Do you mean by dropping and MD in that folder, blog post are automatically generated or does the render happen based on MD files? How does it work? Is there a background task running?

If you run npm run dev it'll run a dev server.

When you're ready to go live and publish at Vercel / Cloudflare you'd use npm run build

Is that what you mean?
