That's pretty cool @JoeHogan . I've had my eye on go2rtc while being pretty invested in mediamtx. I've had some trouble with getting mediamtx running in a container with rpicam , etc so was looking around at my options. For now, I think I've solve that problem. I'm not too familiar with Home Assistant. I had the idea it was more home automation/IO focused than around cameras. my application is for an underwater lan based camera device based on rpi that streams video over webrtc to the topside. Also need to be able to activate record and also activate my model for detection. My next step is to establish a grid of these via OBS, something like Kerberos, or maybe something like this? My current embedded app runs fastapi and mediamtx on a raspberry pi zero 2 with the new AI camera to enable remote control/health/record/detect/stream. |

Also noting your ha-intercom project. Thats interesting too. My vision for the embedded system I'm building for a marine application includes cams (underwater and topside gopros) and comms replacing the fixed headset systems used in commercial and recreational applications. Are you using webrtc for the intercom? is it full duplex? |

Well, thanks for taking a look at a few of my recent projects, which were really targeted at Home Assistant users - you were not exactly my intended audience, haha, but I get what you are trying to do. I don't think you have to run MediaMTX on a Pi for what you're trying to do... I've broadcast my Pi camera feed via websockets for a Pi based drone with just a few lines of code and FFMPEG. I suppose I could send that code your way, if you want. Not sure I totally understand what you're trying to do, but keep in mind Wifi may not work well underwater. |

I made a MediaMTX Home Assistant integration, specifically for WebRTC. Most Home Assistant users have had to use go2rtc to get similar functionality, but I prefer MediaMTX, so I made this. Wanted to reach out to see if i could include your logo/images in it for better presentation within Home Assistant. Here's my repo:
