Inertial Scrolling issue for different geografic directions

the map is north-oriented:

• you swipe down for Inertial Scrolling, the map moves on to north with a decreasing speed and stops straightway. No issue.

the map is not north-oriented, for example west-oriented:

• you swipe down, the map moves west-oriented while your finger touches the screen. When you remove the finger from the display and Inertialon Scrolling starts, the map moves immediatly to north with a decreasing speed and stops straightway. Issue: moving in the wrong direction.

Summary: Inertial Scrolling doesn't care about the geografic direction.

Confirmed on a Pixel 3a with Android 15 (LineageOS 22.2)
Actually this feels quite funny ;) Never really noticed, my map is probably mostly north up.
