where can I find config.yaml documentation ?

While reading the logging documentation I found the following text

Loggers can be configured when you run a job. For example, to filter all messages below ERROR out of the colored console logger, add the following lines to your config.yaml:

1. where is this config.yaml documented?
2. Where should in the deployment is this config.yaml even supposed to be?

I also don't understand what config.yaml is supposed to represent. Is it a runtime configuration that we set in a RunRequest?

Yeah the docs on this are pretty misleading, I'm not sure config.yaml is really a thing in Dagster - the main file reference you'll se in the docs is dagster.yaml.

That being said, I believe this is meant to go in your run config for a given job (launchpad config, RunRequest) - i.e. what @theholy7 referred to. I think the config.yaml is meant to refer to a file created to be used with dagster CLI commands to run jobs, e.g. dg launch --job my_job --config my_config.yaml
