Git repositories can be checked out using SSH or HTTP authentication. It would be nice if the editor provided a nice UI for this.

Let us know if there's anything we can do on pub's end to help with this. Unfortunately we don't have too much fine-grained control over Git, though, so the solution may end up just being parsing stdout.
