DartEditor should do period backups of all opened (and modified) files.

Apparently I didn't save yesterday evening, and over night my machine rebooted (no idea why). When I reopened the editor my changes were lost. I tried to find the modifications in .dartEditor/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.history but couldn't find anything there.

This bug is related to bug 695 and bug 2960, but as far as I understand the other bugs want to overwrite the existing files, whereas I only want to have backup copies of the currently opened file.

Modern IDE's also provide local history functionality . That is why saving immediately-automtically makes sense and superior than having backups.
