Frequent 503 errors with docker builds

I am getting constant 503 errors when building dotnet 6 and dotnet 10 images. The base images used are:

FROM mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/sdk:6.0-bookworm-slim AS base

FROM mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/sdk:10.0-preview-trixie-slim AS base

Below is an example error:

#12 ERROR: failed to copy: httpReadSeeker: failed open: unexpected status code https://mcr.microsoft.com/v2/dotnet/sdk/blobs/sha256:1df4174e1641c24bac819a993f5ed3d2ae6facbada6f7a943bed15d22e64851b: 503 Service Unavailable

Could anything be done to improve the reliability or reduce throttling in my GitHub workflows?
