How to Remap Super key? am i stupid ?

so i am no hardcore hyperland user but chanign $mainMod worked always, here it doesnt

how can i change super key to ALT ?

i tried adding $mainMod to hyperland/custom folder, where and how can i change it? please

Alt key has already been used so you'll have to write your own custom/keybinds.conf without super key from scratch.

Yes it is empty by default. That is "from scratch".

i thought i could find somewhere the SUPER key was defined and just rewrite it. why is this not possible

or the only option is to do each keybind one by one where i just type ALT instead of SUPER. thats insane

i used an auto exec command to swap super key with alt

I'm using keyd, it can assign another thing to the empty super key you left (kernel level I think)

you can also add:
kb_options: super:Alt
or something like this in the file that defines it.
but you will have a super key that cannot be reassign.
