Citation Twig extension needs more flexibility, also returns strange things sometimes

What?

Citation twig extension requires so improvements. e.g. if you pass a CSL single style, no need to show a select element. Or if it fails, I'm getting a "number" rendered. Right now also we have only "bibliography" but it would be great to also have "citation" as output given that we have all the pieces needed.

So far we had no exact use cases for this, but now we have I feel better fixing/adding flexibility in code than mangling with exceptions on the template level.

we had not much use for this extension bc It is very hard to use. But this is not solved so keeping it open and tagging for 1.5
