What's needed?

The option to 'Hide the Viewer in the presence of an Embargo' is not currently provided for all Viewer/Formatter types.

What Viewers/Formatters could this be added to?

  • Audio Player
  • Video Player
  • PDF Viewer
    • Oral History with Multiple Media *relates to three distinct Viewers/Formatters above
  • 3D Viewer
  • Panorama Viewer
  • Warc Replay.Web Widget

Note to anyone reviewing this issue:

You can still effectively Embargo objects without this option to 'Hide the Viewer', as long as you configure the corresponding IIIF Exposed Metadata Endpoint as noted in our Embargo and Access Restriction documentation guide Step 3. Setup your embargo configurations.
