Documentation for NODE_PATH environment variable #3683

I noticed there's no documentation for the NODE_PATH environment variable. PR #253 added support for the NODE_PATH environment variable. Would it be ok for me to add this to the documentation? Wasn't sure if I should add a new section or add it to the Advanced Configuration section.
