[Question] how would I run fastfetch on an MSI GRAXE66 Router?

hello I have an MSI router that has an ARM 7l cpu and runs the Linux 4.4.60 kernel and I am wondering how I might get fastfetch running on this router. if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate help with doing this. the reason I think this is possible is because it has ssh as a feature and it appears to have curl.

Please try https://github.com/fastfetch-cli/fastfetch/releases/download/2.38.0/fastfetch-linux-armv7l.deb. If it doesn't work, you have to build it yourself.

the problem is the router has no means of installing a deb file. it has a very basic shell. and yes I have ssh access but I have no means to build fastfetch for the router. I have mostly given up on this. if someone wants to buy the same router and get fastfetch working be my guest but I think getting it working is beyond my skill set

I can tell you it has busybox and sh but no bash. and no means of installing packages and no root access. I think installing fastfetch might not be possible with the stock firmware. running a built fastfetch from a directory might be possible tho

this is probably because its a router. we won't want a router to become a botnet by people putting malware on it. that is probably what MSI was thinking when they made this Linux environment for the router

Nah, that's just how they all are. It's not important wheather it's busybox or not, what we care is what platform/architeccture and environment it is, and whether we have an SDK. With an SDK you'd cross-compile an executable fastfetch binary for the platform on your system and send it to the router using scp. With that, you'd be able tu run fastfetch on it. Trying to build it on the router itself probably not gonna happen.

yeah if I could get the precompiled files I could probably just to an insecure curl to download and run them on the router
