PocketBase Color Preview - Privacy Policy

Overview

PocketBase Color Preview is a Chrome extension designed to enhance the PocketBase admin panel by displaying color swatches for hex color codes. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

This extension DOES NOT:

  • Collect any personal data
  • Track user activity
  • Send data to external servers
  • Store user information
  • Transmit any data outside of your browser

How It Works

The extension:

  1. Runs locally in your browser
  2. Scans the DOM of your PocketBase admin panel
  3. Identifies hex color codes
  4. Displays them as interactive color swatches
  5. All processing happens on your device

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

  • activeTab & scripting: Required to inject and run the color detection script
  • host_permissions (:///_/*): Allows the extension to run on PocketBase admin URLs

Data Storage

  • No data is stored locally by this extension
  • No cookies or local storage are created
  • All operations are temporary and occur only during your session

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party services or analytics.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the extension version.
