Bug: Pinned recycle bin shows twice on home page quick access

Description

I started using your program after seeing it featured in the APC Magazine - Christmas 2024 Edition, when I installed it for the first time with your defaulted Pinned menu it contained 1x Recycling Bin however when you look at the main section for quick access, drives, network locations etc you see 2x Recycling Bin icons.

I tried removing one and it removes the Pinned Recycling Bin and both the Recycling Bin icons.

I don't know if this is just me for some Windows 11 reason or a bug in the programming, I tried re-pinning the Recycling Bin but couldn't find it so I had to go into Terminate/Repair/Reset app settings in Windows 11.

Thanks for the report, can you send a screen shot of where you are seeing this. You can also type Shell:RecycleBinFolder into the path bar to repin the recycle bin

Sorry for not getting back sooner however I have just seen the bug appear again after a short time of it working properly.

Thanks for the screenshot, can you try turning off Files settings > Advanced > Leave app running in the background when the window is closed and see if it happens again

Recycle bin is showing twice for me as well but once i turn off "Leave app running in the background" it is showing only once
