Hi @bibhas, Thanks for reaching out. Currently, there is no support to have Coyote be exposed as an off-the-shell NIC in Linux. However, we are planning to add this feature towards the mid of this year or early in the fall. Generally, we are very happy accept pull requests and contributions to Coyote; both for documentation but also for new features (e.g. the NIC on the Linux host). However, regarding documentation, we are currently working on a new release of Coyote with significantly improved examples, FAQ, docs etc., which should be made publicly available soon (as soon as next week), so to avoid adding something we might have already written but isn't public yet, could you wait until then? There will be a draft PR. |

I was able to use @LuhaoLiu's packet_sniffer example to capture packets, but is there an "off the shelf" implementation that'd let me capture and transmit packets from the host directly (exposing an ethtool/ifconfig compatible virtual device perhaps)?
Also, would you be open to pull requests for some getting-started documentation?
Please let me know.
