sources for xxd

Just a question. What sources do you build C:\Program Files\Git\usr\bin\xxd.exe from? Sorry couldn't find by myself. Also I wonder to find a related recipe on https://github.com/git-for-windows

i can't say for sure how git-for-windows handles it, but xxd is included in the source directory of Vim.

You can find out by installing Git for Windows' SDK and running pacman -Qo $(which xxd.exe) (which gives you the name of the package that contains the binary) and then looking at the corresponding subdirectory of https://github.com/Alexpux/MSYS2-packages (or https://github.com/Alexpux/MINGW-packages if the package name starts with mingw-w64-).
