GitUI needs your help 🫵!
Releases of GitUI should become more regular now towards 1.0. For this I would like to share some more of the effort. Supporting the project by maintaining the release announcements is a great way to start to contribute. Subscribe to this post.
I will post the release link and feature image/gif in the future here and if you want to support GitUI feel free to tackle the posts and share back here so we can all boost the right post 💪
So far I am manually creating the following posts for each release:
This is a fantastic project, recently I've started working via cloud desktop in VSCode and this is what I really need (also I'm trying to learn rust, so I'm biased). So far I'm in love with gitui. Definitely going to contribute to the project once I'm a bit confident with rust.
One thing I've noticed, naming could be better. Something catchy like lazygit for instance could be better. It's hard to search as git ui is always going to show non relevant results.
