@nilrog i successfully use ama for that for some time already. When i implemented it, i checked with go-e whether this was the right way to do it and they confirmed it was okay to do updates every few seconds |

In the release notes for FW 60.1 it says that the key smd is now writable to allow for custom load balancing. But there is zero info about what to write there. The API description also still only lists it as readable. And when one does not have your controller, that key does not seem to be available over mqtt as that key does not appear when I try to listen for it.
smd | R | TYPE | Status | smart meter data +Since I already have a smartmeter for the PV system, and with Home Assistant I am able to control PV surplus charging with my two chargers, I have always hoped that it would be possible to also use that smartmeter and HA to get the chargers to support true load balancing.
Any chance you could provide some information about how you have envisioned that the smd key should be used?
