The 'Enable tracing for Loki' description is incomplete resp. wrong.
In order to get it to work one needs this set of environment variables:
- JAEGER_AGENT_HOST
- JAEGER_AGENT_PORT
- JAEGER_SAMPLER_TYPE
- JAEGER_SAMPLER_PARAM

The alternative of using JAEGER_ENDPOINT is also not mentioned.

Still, after one succeeds to get Loki emitting traces, it does not help if one uses OTEL Collector (since this collector emits OTEL traces) and you do not see the trace from OTEL collector to Loki.
