Using gtk-rs, how do I highlight the entire single line edit?

In this line of code:

However using nemo or even thunar file managers when selected it shows like this:

Not too sure how do I get like some sort of a background color highlight like this when the field is selected?

Hi mate @philippe06150 , Thanks for your response, regarding this line: entry text:focus {color: black; background: lightblue;} what I wanted to understand a bit better is that if its thunar or nemo file managers if the filepath area is selected it is fully highlighted, both are using the exact same color:

And this is the arc-dark theme.

If I used the Adwaita this is how it looks like:

See how when it is in focus it doesn't have a highlight background color?

I just want it to use the default highlight theme when it is focus, how would I do this cause I believe background: lightblue; is forcing you to use a specific color regardless of what theme you have installed?

Also just letting you know I am using gtk3 not gtk4.

Hi, not sharp on libadwaita, I cannot help sorry, but i think if you want to cope with GNOME style, you have to dive into:

@philippe06150 Hi mate, I mean like I thought the developer using gtk3 would be using generic setting/style if the entry field is focused, and the theme itself would set its own background color, or outline color etc, that is what I am trying to figure out? Or is this file explorer bar not an entry field but something else?
