No, the list used in AdGuard exclude AdGuard's own domains; see:

The bypass list, which you can select in AdGuard DNS or AdGuard Home, does not include the domains listed under ‘Exclusions’.

The Reddit post has once again shown that many people do not understand what kind of list they are actually using and exactly what it blocks.

The list is also used in other services such as ControlD and NextDNS. Each service is responsible for excluding its own domains.

If you use it on your home network, you must unblock the domains you need yourself. E.g. Mullvad, Quad9, …

Can you explain the last sentence about unlocking domains? What can you tell me about the domain "nextdns.io"?

@gitfirewall If you use "nextdns.io" on your home network, you will need to add the "nextdns.io" in exclusions. Same goes for Google Public DNS, OpenDNS, Quad9 and any other DNS server blocked by Hagezi's blocklist; if you use them, add them into exclusion.

Thanks for opening a discussion on this matter, now I would like to understand if the same exclusion also concerns NextDNS, since to make it work I had to whitelist the domain "nextdns.io"
