Microsoft Word plugin

I am working on a template that should work across a couple of different formats (that is, the parameters also match between formats). I'm starting to look into making a Word template which has fields to match export with a Typst template; my question is: Has anyone made a plugin for Word for export through Pandoc? If not, do you think it would be a useful thing to have?

For my particular template, the idea is that people can start working on an article in Microsoft Word, and then seamlessly (without using the command line!) export with Pandoc.
