What it measures

• PERCLOS (eye closure percentage) - gold standard in drowsiness research
• Blink duration - slow blinks (>200ms) indicate fatigue
• Dark circles (color difference analysis using CIE LAB)
• Circadian model (Borbely Two-Process Model)
• 4 more signals

All based on peer-reviewed research (Dinges 1998, Caffier 2003, Borbely 1982).
