You might want to be clearer about what you mean by copying the input. Make sure implementers don't modify the structure in place.

RESOLVED: Any input to JSON-LD API methods MUST NOT be modified.

In eb12eee I've added a statement to the spec clarifying that the input parameters MUST NOT be modified. I will therefore close this issue in 24 hours unless I hear objections.
