Fresh install run_migration error

On Windows11, I've done a fresh git clone as per the getting started documentation.

When running the setup step, using Git Bash, I get this error:

migration_runner-1  | diesel migration --database-url 'postgresql://db_user:db_pass@pg:5432/hyperswitch_db' run --migration-dir '/app/migrations' --config-file '/app/diesel.toml'
migration_runner-1  | Failed to parse patch file: error parsing patch: invalid char in unquoted filename
migration_runner-1  | error: Recipe `run_migration` failed on line 203 with exit code 1

Googling the error did not return any results. Am I missing something?

@matrix6inc Looks like this could be specific to Git Bash. Could you try the same command in Windows PowerShell and in Command Prompt and share the full output here?

PowerShell does not have a way to directly run bash scripts. I tried using wsl which does include bash. Here's the error from wsl:

docker-desktop:/tmp/docker-desktop-root/run/desktop/mnt/host/c/Users/rrb/Documents/projects/btc/hyperswitch/scripts# ./setup.sh
': No such file or directory

I also tried running sh inside wsl:

docker-desktop:/tmp/docker-desktop-root/run/desktop/mnt/host/c/Users/rrb/Documents/projects/btc/hyperswitch/scripts# sh ./setup.sh
./setup.sh: set: line 2: illegal option -o pipefail

The only other bash shell that I have is git bash which we know doesn't work.

Can you try the same with this command instead :

docker compose up -d
