Description

Every once in a while my default limactl instance stops working (using default settings). I am not sure what triggers it, but at some point it cannot connect to SSH anymore and the only fix is to delete and reinstall the instance.

I have attached a copy of my serial.log file
lima.log

According to attached lima.log, it seems that your issue is related to #712 . What version of Ubuntu (and QEMU, Lima) are you using?

limactl version 0.9.1

QEMU emulator version 6.2.0
Copyright (c) 2003-2021 Fabrice Bellard and the QEMU Project developers

Ubuntu I cannot check ATM as I can't boot it again, but it's the one installed with fully default settings.

I have seen the other issue and completely reinstalled lima and went for the 20.04 ubuntu version

https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/releases/20.04/release/ubuntu-20.04-server-cloudimg-amd64.img

However running brew update && brew upgrade doesn't update the QEMU version past 6.2.0

For now issue seems to be fixed, hope it stays that way
