before that I had problems with Wifi.h, so I changed it to ESP8266WiFi.h, as follows:

sorry but I've read it but the tutorial says:
for installation via VSCODE & PLATFORMIO

• Open the ESP3D directory folder in VSCode
• PlatformIO automatically resolves and installs project dependencies when you build, but I tried pio pkg install command manually.
• Open esp3d/config.h and set features you want. Ok
• Use Upload and monitor from the target environment you selected to compile and flash your module. Ok

and is displaying the error:

is there another step I missed?

what did you configure in esp3d (config.h) ?
what env do you compile ?

@lisbao1303 I found the issue - it should be fixed with https://github.com/luc-github/ESP3D/releases/tag/v2.1.4
there was recent change to fix typo with SSDP32 name but the change was not done in library itself, so the explude on esp8266 was no more working - my bad sorry
