Add a functionality to not write to frontmatter?

Would it be possible to add a functionality, so that for example text fields don't get written to the frontmatter.

For example, i am using quite a few callouts with text fields in them for a nicer UI in dashboards, but they sometimes get also quit long and i don't want to switch between editor and view mode mode.

And i really love to use meta-bind's text areas into those callouts, but the constant update to the frontmatter slows down the typing.

Do you think that would be a feature to implement?

Thanks for pointing that out.

The problem with the memory is, that the content will be deleted when closing, so the text i have written will not be there anymore the next time i open obsidian.
It would be amazing if the text would still be stored in the callout textArea field i created.

Persistent storage that is not frontmatter will likely never happen.

how does the checkbox work? Doesn't it change the file not the frontmatter?
