Adding additional types of LEV fields

Hi Maca88, I think this a great system but I wonder if it’s possible to add a few additional optional fields from the LEV (specialized in my particular case) such as cadence, motor power, rider power? I know these are recorded in the bike data as they are able to be displayed on the bike screen and the specialized app. I think these might be more useful for riders than battery voltage and motor temperature for example?

Hi,
The LEV ANT+ profile does not have cadence, motor power and rider power. Specialized app is using a proprietary protocol to retrieve these information from the bike. As far as I know, the specification for the protocol that Specialized app is using is not public. I am not sure about bike screen, but I am assuming it is something similar as the Specialized app.

Thanks for the reply, that is a shame but hopefully the LEV std will be updated in the future.
