The Python Extension is currently used by two other extensions:

  • Intellicode

  • Azure functions

  • Should we document the API?
    My suggestion yes.

  • Where should this be documented?
    GitHub Wiki (not VS Code docs)
    Personally I don't see any value in advertising this on the vscode docs page.
    These are very specific APIs with very specific use cases.
