  • I have not been informed if the issue is resolved in a preview version of the winget client.

Installation issue.

Brief description of your issue

When I try to install Whatsapp I am facing the issue with description :

Installer hash does not match; this cannot be overridden when running as admin

Steps to reproduce

I am execurting the following comand under admin account :
winget install --id=WhatsApp.WhatsApp

I am execurting the following comand under regular user account :
winget install --id=WhatsApp.WhatsApp

Actual behavior

Installer hash does not match; this cannot be overridden when running as admin
Installer hash does not match. - under regular user account

Expected behavior

To install the application succesfully
