Is there a way to emit the nightwatch version through the nightwatch API?

It's eluding me on first glance, but the reason I'm asking is that I'm currently looking at updating an assertion/command library built on-top of nightwatch, and one of the updates will only work on nightwatch v2 onwards. If I can read the nightwatch API version I'd be able to maintain backwards compatibility by retaining the old method.

Do you mean on the browser api that it's passed to tests? Or simply doing something like require ('nightwatch').version?

Ahh... I guess I'm thinking more the latter, that might be what I'm after.

We'll add something soon. Is there a pattern that we can use? Do you know what other projects are doing?

Hmm, I don't know what other projects use off the top of my head. I guess my preference for my ease would be an endpoint that returns the object in max, min, patch order. But that's just because it'd make my life easier, not because it's necessarily the best way to do it 😂
