Got denied even though I uploaded my school ID?

Hi everyone,

I’ve tried uploading my school ID and I don’t get why it’s getting rejected after 8 minutes. I was apart of github education prior.

Hi @Izzy-droid,

The GitHub Education application may be a little more restrictive than it used to be. Make sure to fill in your billing info and your GitHub profile with your full name exactly as it appears on your academic documentation. The academic proof you submit must be dated (with a current date), once everything is ok, log out and log back into GitHub before reapplying, as for some reason the application system gets stuck in a loop even after the required information has been updated.

If you still get rejected, submit the application using another device, such as a smartphone or another PC.

If none of the above works, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.
