GitHub Education applications can sometimes take longer than 72 hours to process — especially during peak times like the start of a new academic year, when many students are applying.

The message you're seeing — "We're still processing your application..." — simply means your application is still under review.

In the meantime, please double-check that:

1. You’ve uploaded all required documents (student ID, proof of enrollment, etc.).
2. The documents are clear and valid.
3. You're using a school-issued email address, if available.

It’s normal for GitHub Student Pack applications to take a bit longer than 72 hours in some cases. The review process can vary depending on the volume of applications and whether the documents provided need extra verification.

If your application still shows “We’re still processing your application,” it just means it’s in the review queue. Nothing is wrong on your side. Many students have reported that it can take up to 2–3 weeks before they hear back.

What you can do:

• Make sure the documents you uploaded are clear and valid (student ID, enrollment certificate, or school-issued email).
• Keep checking your GitHub Education portal for updates.
• If it takes longer than 2–3 weeks, you can open a ticket with GitHub Support to ask for a status update.

For now, I’d recommend waiting a little longer — most applications do get approved once verified.

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

Once available, you can claim your Copilot PRO offer on this signup link.

To redeem others benefits, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section and select any offer that suits you.

In case you encounter a problem claiming any offer, I recommend you raise a ticket here, select "I am a verified student having trouble redeeming my Global Campus offers" and explain your issue.
